Bmw Remote Starter Should I Have Best Buy Install Alarm/security System For My 2001 BMW 325i? Or, Have The BMW Center Install It?

Should I have Best Buy install alarm/security system for my 2001 BMW 325i? Or, Have the BMW center install it? - bmw remote starter

I bought a BMW and you want an alarm Nice / install security system. I want to install a Python alarm / security remote starter, I saw at Best Buy (available at Circuit City as well). VIBRA The remote for this alarm / security (1) and (2) FLAS warning light to go for some reason. Well, I do not know whether the BMW center or have the Best Buy store, installed on my BMW. Again, I've installed this system in a BMW? Or can I trust Best Buy to do a professional job on the install process?

BMW center. BestBuy doubts about the warranty if you are an authorized service center for BMW?

Snowie is a good starting point. I'll deal with Best Buy cancel the warranty, but I have enough confidence. go buy the best.

You are probably choose Python alarm system in the OEM BMW because of the large number of features that the BMW system can not provide.

I am not sure that one to another, but I'll just go ahead and list the pros and cons. You decide how you want to go:

BMW System:
Strengths:
Pre-wired, easy to install. Even if you install the program and try to screw up, can not accept the dealer. Interfaces with the car key remote.

Weaknesses:
Dated with the basic characteristics and location of the default installation, you can learn from the pros on and off. Expensive (less than Sysytems Aftermarket finest).

Aftermarket system:
Strengths:
Latest technology, 2-way remote controls, many more features (including remote)-release, non-standard installation directory (more) difficult to find. It can cost as much as a BMW.

Weaknesses:
Remote start transponder defeat of the security key (requires a spare key) in the car, the heavy chain additional remote keys. Skills can install on the matter.

BMW dEaler not install the hardware) as his BMW BMW (for reasons of liability and warranty, so you can forget the idea.

Hopefully - The Best Buy dude knows what he's doing. BMW electrical system is not as easy as other cars. If you're wrong, you could get ... well, very dirty.

After a good conversation with the director of Best Buy about your concerns. Make it clear whether the man who carried at least in some other BMW E46. You should also give any kind of warranty on the work, if not 6 months on the road because of poor processing, which is covered ... etc. If in doubt, go.

I'd better not have to buy a BMW (and vehicles from germs in general) complex electrical systems, Best Buy is not what I can handle as a place, an installation in a car like this would consider how high is a custom shop rental of a market system or under the floor with the BMW system. I would think in any case that you will ever make an extra from the fob market.
